Cinnamon Rolls in the Air Fryer

Coming off of last week's Air Fryer Olympic victory with the chocolate donuts, I wanted to try to make cinnamon rolls for a World Championships win :) I have been craving cinnamon rolls all week, and the rolls turned out amazing! I would call it a win :) Two things that I might do differently next time, though:

1. Let the dough rise a bit before frying (wait about 45 minutes - 1 hour)

2. Roll the dough a bit tighter when making the rolls

But, overall, they were DELISH!! Here's the super easy recipe adapted a bit from

Cinnamon Rolls:

1/2 cup brown sugar

3 cups Bisquick Gluten Free mix (You can use regular mix too)

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 1/4 cup milk

1 egg

2 tbl melted butter

4 oz cream cheese, softened

2 tbl butter, softened

1 1/4 cup powdered sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Pre-heat your air fryer to 350

In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon

In a large bowl, stir Bisquick mix, granulated sugar, milk and egg until dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add more Bisquick.

Place the dough on a piece of parchment paper sprinkled with Bisquick. Kneed dough and then roll it into a large rectangle. Brush it was 2 tablespoons of the melted butter, and then sprinkle with the cinnamon/brown sugar mixture.

Roll dough up, and make sure the sides are pinched, so the dough is sealed well. Cut into 1 1/2 inch slices.

Place four rolls at the bottom of the air fryer. Cook for 5 minutes at 350. Flip rolls over and cook for an additional 4 minutes.

For the frosting, combine the softened cream cheese, butter, vanilla and powdered sugar until a glaze forms. Paint freely on top of the warm rolls.

Enjoy!! :)
